A great overview for surfers just starting out. If you have no idea where to start this guide will provide a great intro to understand surfing. I’m addition to useful information, the guide also has great videos with fun instructors for those who are more visual.

I am absolutely loving this surfing course! Before starting the course, surfing had always been a dream of mine but I didn’t know where to begin! This course has instilled confidence and even more excitement to start surfing! This course covers EVERYTHING a beginner may be worried about. They cover the history of surfing, the mental and physical aspects, ocean patterns, proper form etc. 10/10 I highly recommend taking to this course!

I just finished their beginner surf course and I was impressed of how much I learned. The content of the course is immense and when you are new to surfing or are trying to improve your skills this course is a must. I especially enjoyed that the content was delivered via videos for the most part. This made it easier to understand certain explanation as you could see it visually as well. Furthermore, the course is structured in sections, therefore, you can work your way through it and always go back to re-read it. Moreover, the quizzes at the end of each section were helpful to repeat the content and memorize it even further. Some answers which were obviously wrong made me laugh as they were quite funny. In sum, I was really happy that I took their course as I learned a lot about surfing and everything around it. Overall, the course took me about 6 weeks, but it was worth it.

Independent Surfer is a great introductory course to surfing. It has been a pleasure getting to know the history of surfing while also applying them in real life. I highly suggest this course for anyone looking to dedicate some time and energy into informative, easy to navigate classes.

I took their online beginner surf course and this course is absolutely well for beginners. I've learned a lot, from surf history to surf culture, how to choose accessories, mental preperation etc. you can learn everything about surfing. Course index is well designed and easy to understand and follow. All you have to do is practise at beach after watching videos. I took lessons from surf coach in my country and also i have watched too many videos about surfing but this course is clearly most instructive one. If you are a beginner i strongly recommend it 🏄
